Definition | An instrument for measuring broadband global UV irradiance. The instrument has a sensitivity covering the entire UV range - UVA and UVB. The CUV3 is designed for continuous outdoor use in routine monitoring applications with the sun as a source, but can also be used for indoor applications such as monitoring or controlling of different types of UV lamps, having radiation in the wavelength range of 290 - 400 nm. The instrument outputs a voltage signal representing the actual UV radiation. Sensor signal at 365 nm is 200 - 400 microvolts/W/m^2. Operating offset is < 10 microvolts. Temperature range is -40 to 50 degC. | ||
