Definition | A four-channel, multi-spectral radiometer with four configurable channels capable of measuring multiple wavebands simultaneously. The channels available in the RBR quadrante are PAR, with a wavelength range of 400 - 700 nm (+/- 0.010 umol/m^2/s resolution), and narrow-band radiation, with a variety of requestable wavelengths available within the range of 400 - 1100 nm (standard wavelength options are: 413, 445, 475, 488, 508, 532, and 560 nm). Resolution is wavelength dependent for narrow-band radiometers. The instrument features a high dynamic range, optimised cosine response, and excellent low-light detection. The instrument is compact, housed in titanium, and depth rated to 2000 m. Operating temperature range is between -5 to 35 degC. Sampling rate is up to 32 Hz. Dynamic range for optical radiometry is > 5.5 decades with an initial accuracy of +/- 2 % and a linearity of +/- 1.5 %. Power requirements are 4 mJ/sample (at 4 Hz or slower) or 36 mW (at 8 Hz or faster). Output is RS-232. | ||
