| Definition | The sensor has been calibrated using the manufacturer's calibration, and has been further calibrated against a TRIS-buffer with salinity 35. This involves immersing the sensor electrodes in a certified reference material (CRM) and comparing the sensor output values with the theoretical values for the TRIS buffer at different temperatures.
