| Definition | This group contains parameter codes that relate to material in suspension within the water column, such as SPM concentration and particle settling velocity. Uncalibrated data from instruments that primarily measure SPM concentration, such as nephelometer voltages, are also included. If a parameter is equally applicable to the material whether or not it is in suspension then it should be included in either the appropriate chemical APG or the Sediment Properties APG. | |
