| Definition | A ruggedised distributed temperature sensor suitable for use in remote and hostile environments, ideal for shorter-distance, higher-resolution deployments. The XT-DTS M works under the principle of Raman based temperature measurement combined with Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry (OTDR). The XT-DTS M can be configured and controlled remotely, via a wireless or satellite link. Low power consumption enables operation with solar or wind power. This instrument can be configured to produce both single-ended and double-ended measurements. Measuring range: 10 km; Sampling and temperature resolution: 25/50 cm, 0.01 degrees celsius; Temperature range: -40 to 65 degrees celsius; Humidity: 10 - 85 percent non-condensing. | ||
