Definition | The Leica DM2500 is an optical microscope equipped with a 100-Watt halogen illumination. The microscope is certified for in-vitro-diagnostics (IVD). The illumination renders a realistic impression of the colours of the sample, so that users in clinical applications, such as HE specimen staining, can assess the colours of their samples accurately. The DM2500 LED model is also available with ultra-bright LED illumination which is ideal for highly light-absorbent specimens and DIC. | ||
