| TC | Cruise technical contact | The person to whom post-cruise queries concerning shipboard or deployed scientific instrumentation should be addressed. This may be a cruise technician, but could also be a shore-based contact from their organisation. | 2011-12-12 |
| TS | Cruise technician | A participant on the cruise who is responsible for preparation, operation and/or maintenance of shipboard or deployed scientific instrumentation, but has no IPR interest in the data returned by that instrumentation. | 2011-12-12 |
