| Definition | A subsea LED for use with remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) or in sync with SubC camera systems as a strobe. It is available in two depth ratings - a 3000 m option with anodised aluminium housing and a 6500 m option with titanium housing. The flat viewport lens material is scratch-resistant sapphire. The lamp output is 4800 lumens, strobe output is 6000 - 8000 lumens, and the colour temperature is 6500 K. The beam angle is 90 degrees and electrical efficiency is 89 lumens/watt. LED lifespan is over 60000 h with thermal monitoring and input voltage protection adding to the robustness of the light. Serial (RS-232) or analogue control is available. | ||
