| Definition | An automated ambient air analyser designed for continuous long-term, unattended analysis of gaseous elemental mercury. The 2537X is suitable for ambient air monitoring, determining differential surface emission and deposition rates, and measuring atmospheric mercury speciation. It uses a carrier gas (argon) and gold preconcentration with atomic fluorescence detection (Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence spectrophotometer) to measure Total Gaseous Mercury (TGM). It features a touch-screen interface and dual gold trapping for uninterrupted sampling. It performs automatic calibrations using internal permeation source and a manual injection port is also provided. It is available in two configurations to extend the upper range of the analyser, suitable if mercury concentrations are expected to far exceed typical ambient air concentrations. Sensetivity: < 0.1 ng/m3. Sampling cycle: 2 - 60 mins. Sample flow: 0.7 - 1.5 L/min. | ||
