| Definition | The quantum PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) sensors in the Apogee SQ series are designed for continuous photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) measurement in indoor or outdoor environments. The SQ series sensors output an analogue voltage that is directly proportional to PPFD under sunlight (for models SQ-212 and SQ-215) or electric lights (for models SQ-222 and SQ-225). Sensitivity, calibration factors, and output ranges differ by model and serial number. The sensors operate at a spectral range of 410 to 655 nm in temperatures ranging from -40 to 70 degC and can be submerged in water up to depths of 30 m. | ||
