| Definition | A benchtop quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) with high-throughput commercial laboratory applications. The 7700x features high-performance sample introduction, matrix tolerant interface, and a fast, frequency matching radio frequency (RF) generator. The high matrix introduction standard on the 7700x enables high dissolved solids samples (such as undiluted seawater) to be run directly. The octupole reaction system (ORS) has been optimised to significantly improve the performance of helium (He) collision mode for the removal of polyatomic interferences. The electron multiplier detector provides a full 9 orders dynamic range. The 7700x has environmental applications such as drinking water analysis. A range of options and accessories are available to further customize the 7700x for advanced applications, such as discrete sampling, chromatographic coupling, and analysing organic solvents or highly corrosive acids. | ||
