| Definition | A dive computer for monitoring water depth and pressure, as well as a divers' dissolved and free gas in blood and tissue. It can operate in five modes: air, nitrox, gauge, free and off. It has an apnea timer for free diving and a timer in air/nitrox modes. In nitrox mode it can measure up to three gases (oxygen, nitrogen, helium); oxygen outputs are partial pressure of oxygen (0.2 - 3.0) and oxygen saturation (21-50 %). It features the Suunto RGBM algorithm for calculating and monitoring dive decompression and gas switching during ascent. Detailed graphical logs and dive data can be viewed on a PC using Suunto DM5 software. It features an integrated tilt-compensated 3D digital compass (accuracy: +/- 15 degrees), a single-channel 5.3 kHz radio transciever, and a temperature compensated pressure sensor (resolution: 0.1 m). Supports dives down to 120 m. | ||
