Definition | A radiation sensor designed to acquire UV-A and UV-B irradiance separately, using a silicon photo diode sensor. Multiple versions of this instrument are available with differing power supply and data output analog output type. UV-A is measured up to 100 W/m^2 over a spectral range 310 - 400 nm; maximum sensitivity: 335 nm. UV-B is measured up to 0.5 W/m^2 over a spectral range 265 - 315 nm; maximum sensitivity: 297 nm. Measurements are cosine-corrected. This instrument has a non-linearity of +/- 3 percent and absolute error of +/- 10 percent. Cosinus-correction: Fehler f2 +/- 2 percent. This instrument operates in ambient temperatures -30 to 60 degrees C. | ||
