| Definition | SeaBeam sensors are now manufactured by L-3 Communications Elac Nautik GmbH. The Seabeam 2112 is a 12kHz multi-beam echo sounder of which a single swath covers an angular range of up to 120 degrees using 121 beams. The instrument's pulse length is between 3ms and 20 ms. This instrument was developed in the 1980s, and has now been discontinued. | ||
