| Definition | Rectangular net design similar to BIONESS. Uses an acoustic telemetry system to monitor depth, battery voltage, flow, and net function and to control the opening and closing of the nets. An underwater data logger is also present to log depth, conductivity, temperature and other parameters. LOCHNESS carries 5 nets with 224 cm x 224 cm mouth opening (5-m2) x 1400 cm long.
