It can exist in distinct tautomeric forms, as 1-nitroguanidine (a nitroimine) or 2-nitroguanidine (a nitroamine); in both solid and in solution, the nitroimine form predominates.Used as a propellant or high explosive, with molecular formula CH4N4O2. | ||
