| Definition | The FlowCam VS series are automated particle analysis instruments that use digital imaging for measuring size and shape of microscopic particles in a fluid medium. The benchtop model is ideally suited to a typical laboratory environment with applications in oceanographic research, municipal water, biopharmaceutical formulations, chemicals, oil and gas, biofuels, and many other markets. The system can be optimised for counting and sizing, superior image quality, and morphology characterisation. etc. The FlowCam VS is available in four models, from the imaging-only VS-I to the top-of-the-line VS-IV with two channels of fluorescence measurement and scatter trigger capabilities. Can measure particals between 2um and 2mm. Flow rate between 0.005 ml/min and 250ml/minute (Dependant upon magnification, flow cell depth, camera frame rate, efficiency desired, etc.). The imaging only systems do not have an exitation wavelength or fluorescence emission wavelengths. | |
