Definition | A multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver used to track visible signlas (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, IRNSS) for satellite positioning. It is specifically designed to support applications in earth science. The device operates by converting signals from visible satellites into a position on earth. The PolaRx5 offers 544 channels for GNSS tracking, and uses Advanced Interference Mitigation (AIM+) technology to filter out sources of interference. The devices also uses Septentrios patented APME+ multipath mitigation technology to elimiate short delay multipath without the introduction of bias. APME+ can be activated or de-activated by the user as necessary. It is compatible with Septentrio PolaNt Choke Ring B3/E6 Antenna. TheIP68compliant variant, thePolaRx5ecomes complete withbattery. The PolaRx5 offers an in-built web-UI, internal data logging up to 16 GB, and up to 100 Hz raw data output. Operating temperature ranges between -40 and +65 degC, and measurement precision (unsmoothed pseudorange) ranges from 1.5 to 25 cm. | |
